We are looking for 2 experienced Adult Social Workers to carry out the following duties:
Ability to recognise abuse.
Ability to triage safeguarding referrals and make decisions on whether the referrals should progress to section 42.
Ability to identify immediate risk and take necessary action to address i.e. inform partner agencies, request a visit from a locality/ short term team duty worker.
Ability to work in partnership with external agencies to support the best outcome for the individual at risk of abuse.
Ability to take part on a duty rota.
Ability to screen incoming SA referrals.
Ability to identify when a referral requires care management and forward to the relevant teams.
Ability to offer advise and guidance to newly qualifies, less experiences and unqualified team members.
Ability to work within a team and be a supportive team member.
Ability to take ownership/ accountability of own work and decisions made and be able to explain these if required.
Ability to work in a busy team and work in a proportional manner.
Full or Part Time - Full time Mon to Friday 08:45-5.15pm
Mon to Thursday; 08:45-4.45pm Friday
