Prospero Teaching is looking for Tutors to work with young people across South Yorkshire.
Acting as a work-finding service, we provide tutors to a range of Local Authorities and Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools. We are looking for Tutors to provide lessons for Reception students through to post-16 learners who have strong mentoring skills and are passionate about teaching.
Prospero Teaching works with both experienced tutors who have experience teaching children on a one-to-one basis and fully qualified, experienced teachers.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Various locations across South Yorkshire
- Position - Tutor
- Type of work - Tuition - short, medium and long-term tutoring roles
- Start date - ASAP
- Hours - Flexible between 8:30 am - 7 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience working with young people
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (Prospero can provide this)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide at least two professional references that cover the last two years
