Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled quantity surveyor to join a civils company The quantity surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
The quantity surveyor will be in a similar role currently, or looking to step into one, ideally from a civils backgrounds and tier 2/3 companies
Role includes:
- Preparing cost analysis based on the drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labour involved
- Conduct cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control
- Review and analyse contractor bids and change orders
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports for clients and stakeholders
- Manage project finances including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking costs
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
What is required?
- Proven experience as a quantity surveyor or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, costs, and timeframes
- Proficiency in cost control techniques
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
