Location: Glasgow City Centre

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000

This firm is seeking an experienced Associate Solicitor to join their Private Client department, specifically within the Estate Planning team. They are looking for a candidate with strong leadership qualities who can manage a complex caseload while supervising a team that includes Solicitors, Paralegals, and Trainee Solicitors. The role involves high levels of client interaction and collaboration with a responsible Partner to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and service delivery. This firm values specialization and encourages cross-referrals to enhance client loyalty and service.

Requirements for the Role

Candidates should possess over five years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a comprehensive technical knowledge of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and Inheritance Tax. They will need to demonstrate diligence and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision are essential. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to engage with clients and peers at all levels. A compassionate approach, coupled with sound commercial and financial skills, is vital for success in this role. While not essential, a STEP qualification or dual qualification in both Scottish and English law would be advantageous.
