Our client, based in Washington, is looking to employ an energetic and enthusiastic individual to work in their warehouse and shipping department.
The role covers various tasks and includes the following:
- Stock control/warehouse duties
- Loading and unloading of deliveries
- Experience of using a computer ERP system for stock control purposes
- Fork truck driving
- Preparing and packing orders for dispatching
- Administration for all aspects of shipping
- Processing incoming orders and booking them to stock
- Working within a small team to meet order dispatch deadlines.
Requirements:
- Forklift truck experience.
- Reasonable administrative experience which is imperative
- Basic computer skills will be necessary as a minimum
- Good communication skills are necessary while working with other depts ie communicating with the sales team and QA, for example.
Basic shift is primarily between 12:00pm and 8pm. Monday to Friday.
With flexibility to partially cover earlier shifts, when necessary, within a reasonable notice period.
E.G. Providing holiday cover for colleagues on annual leave.
