Salary: £31,373 (National Framework) or £36,775 (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week or compressed hours/job share will also be considered
Contract: Permanent
Location: Home-based with regular meetings in London, Newcastle or Leeds

What you will bring...

To be considered as our Associate Business Architect, you will need:

- Experience creating operating model and business design artefacts using a mix of tools
- Experience applying structured thinking to business problems and documentation
- Experience working with different levels of seniority to capture key information and synthesise it into an architectural format
- Experience providing guidance and knowledge building using internal reference sources
- Experience maintaining a structured repository of information
- Experience applying change and configuration control to a complex set of documents or artefacts
- Experience advocating for business architecture and the knowledge library
- Experience promoting the use of methods and techniques to create artefacts

What you'll be doing...

As our Associate Business Architect, you will address business scenarios that impact our Operating Model by applying architectural methods to advise and guide business initiatives.

Communicating business architecture frameworks, principles and techniques, you will promote their use for developing business architecture and for its content.

You will also support the Product and Service Design Team in maintaining the library of artefacts that underpin the Target Operating Model (TOM) and how they link to our strategy, organisation structure and technology architecture.

Additionally, you will:

- Promote the use of artefacts to the wider organisation
- Develop artefacts to different levels of abstraction
- Carry out design assurance assessments
- Shape business designs, solution concepts and logical requirements
- Maintain the library in a way that is accessible to the organisation
- Provide a custodian, assurance and configuration management service for our architectural artefacts
