ROLE PROFILE: The Flagship Events team sits under the Corporate Affairs group within LSEG and is responsible for end-to-end delivery of high-profile industry and internal events and programs, that demonstrate our position in the marketplace and display our thought leadership. As Manager, Flagship Events, you will deliver the full spectrum of events which build on new and existing client relationships, supporting client retention goals, and build significant, face-to-face engagement opportunities for our client-facing teams. The role requires ongoing planning and collaboration with various client-facing teams and senior management across LSEG, external clients and an array of vendors and businesses to support the delivery of events. The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of event creation and management. You will also have a curiosity about leading a team, and taking on a people leader role. ROLE SUMMARY: As a member of the Flagship Events team, your main focus will be contributing to and supporting the planning, management and delivery of a wide spectrum of flagship events across the group. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • End to end planning and delivery of all Flagship Events that have been assigned to the team to ensure a successful client experience and highly qualitative outcomes for the LSEG team, clients and customers. • Research customer, market, industry and organisational trends to develop effective programs. • Manage senior stakeholder relationships, both internal and external related to event programs. • Manage vendors to support execution of flagship events. • Manage digital event platforms to support external websites, internal briefing sites, registration, event apps. • Reporting and documentation of measurement and any event follow ups as the need arises. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: • Experience of event or marketing experience creating, handling and producing high-touch, outstanding meetings and events • Experience leading teams or sophisticated projects • Team spirited, friendly, confident individual with a highly professional demeanour including excellent interpersonal and networking skills; confidence to interact with executives and top-tier clients • Ability to conceptualize ideas and see ideas through to execution • Comfortable leading contracts including terms and conditions, liability, indemnification, attrition, etc. • Excellent presentation and communication skills with an engaging and diplomatic demeanour • Highly resourceful, creative and self-motivated • Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure in a client-facing environment • Interest and experience in staying current on all aspects of event production and execution • Experience working with latest tech requirements • Delivery focused with strong attention to detail and high-quality standards, coupled with the ability to balance multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines • Ability to work non-traditional days and hours as needed LSEG Purpose and Values Our purpose is driving financial stability, empowering economies and enabling customers to create sustainable growth.
