Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include controlling the weekly payroll, managing the purchase ledger, performing bank reconciliations, handling site and fuel expenses, and assisting with month-end and year-end audits. You will also have the opportunity to work on carbon reduction initiatives and gain experience in various aspects of finance. This role requires a proactive approach to managing financial tasks and maintaining accurate records.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in accounts or a related field. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. You should be proficient in using financial software and have a good understanding of accounting principles.
