Occupational Therapist - Community

An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to work with adults community services in Lancashire.

This position is for a locum Occupational Therapist who has previous experience of working within social care or a local authority setting.

The Occupational Therapist will provide assessments for adults with physical disabilities or age related dysfunction in the Lancashire area with an emphasis on promoting and maintaining independence through provision of specialist equipment and adaptations. The Occupational Therapist will deliver professional assessments and interventions, carrying a varied caseload to include some complex cases requiring clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of specialist equipment, adaptations, and moving and handling.

We are ideally looking for a HCPC registered Senior Occupational Therapist who has extensive experience in adaptations, moving and handling and specialist seating.
