Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive risk-based audits to assess credit risk within the organisation
Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management practises, policies, and procedures
Identify control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Prepare audit reports highlighting key findings and recommendations for management
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging risks
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA) is preferred
Strong knowledge of credit risk management principles and practises
Solid understanding of financial products and instruments, particularly in the investment banking sector
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
