Summary:

Do you have experience of working on clients energy or utilities bills? We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Gas & Power Analyst to join a leading energy consultancy as an Energy Bureau Analyst. You will be responsible for understanding and managing customers' energy costs, as well as carrying out a variety of bureau tasks including data entry, invoice validation and bill analysis for Gas & Power customers. If you have some experience of working within energy bureau, comfortable analysing high volumes of data and you have excellent communication skills - APPLY NOW!!!

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse customer gas and power bills, identifying key components and charges
  • Demonstrate an understanding of both non-commodity and commodity elements.
  • Research market trends and regulatory changes that impact energy pricing.
  • Track the impact of new fees and market fluctuations on customer bills, communicating these changes effectively to customers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate spreadsheets to analyse and track customer energy consumption data.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding their bills and energy usage, working with our invoice validation service if needed..
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to clarify any discrepancies or issues related to customer bills.

Key skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of gas and power bills, including the various components and charges
  • Strong MS Excel skills, with the ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stay current with market trends and regulatory changes affecting the energy sector
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex energy concepts
  • Customer service experience with a focus on providing clear and professional communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
