A prestigious international law firm in London is seeking a full-time, permanent Trademarks Paralegal. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with clients and foreign associates.
What you will do:
In this role, you will assist with trademark and design filings, prosecution, and IPO formalities, as well as submit IPO forms for new applications, oppositions, assignments. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with foreign associates on new trademark and design applications and other IPO-related activities. You'll communicate with clients to provide regular updates and handle basic portfolio-related queries. Additionally, you will assist with the renewal of trademark and design registrations globally, check, report, and track certificates and other official documents. Accurate data entry, including making appropriate file notes, is essential. You will also assist with new file/case openings, manage deadlines, and prepare cost estimates for national and international filing and recordal projects.
What you will need:
Candidates should also demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a solid understanding of trademark and design filing processes. CITMA qualification is desirable, there will not be any training provided to progress into a Solicitor position.
