- Income Maximisation: Identify and secure research and funding opportunities to maximise income for the deportment
- Financial Reporting: Analyse financial data from various sources to support strategic decision-making
- Framework Understanding: Maintain a clear understanding of relevant research and funding frameworks
- Opportunity Identification: Continuously identify new funding opportunities to expand the department's research portfolio
- Grant Applications: Assist in the preparation and submission of high-quality grant applications
- Visitor Liaison: Liaise with high-profile visitors, conduct briefings, and collate relevant data to ensure smooth interactions
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the department's objectives
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to align research goals and initiatives
- Project Management: Manage projects effectively to ensure timely delivery and achievement of research objectives
