Are you ready to take your software sales career to the next level? Our client, a forward-thinking software house specialising in artificial intelligence and machine learning, is seeking a talented Software Sales Engineer to join their team. As a Software Sales Engineer, you will leverage your commercial experience in selling advanced software or technical products to prestigious clients. You should have a solid understanding of SaaS (software-as-a-service) and cloud computing. Additionally, you should be skilled in producing professional tenders and completing RFPs (request for proposals) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Your excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex software or technical issues to diverse audiences, will be highly valued. While this may not be a typical sales role, we do expect you to be confident in navigating the sales cycle, especially within technology companies. Experience in both short-term and long-term sales cycles is desirable.
While you don't have to be a technical expert, we do expect you to quickly grasp technical concepts and effectively communicate them. Furthermore, this role offers the exciting opportunity to work for a leading software company, so your enthusiasm for the industry is crucial!
Key qualifications and attributes:
- Several years of commercial experience in selling advanced software or technical products ??
- Strong knowledge of SaaS and cloud computing ??
- Proven ability to produce professional tenders and complete RFPs ??
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics to diverse audiences ???
- Marketing expertise in enterprise software solutions ??
- Degree-level education to at least a 2.1, ideally in a technical subject �?
- Junior to mid-level role £30,000 - £40,000
