Introduction:

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious healthcare organisation looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Support Officer to join their Workforce Transformation Team within the Nurse & Health Professional Education Directorate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and project management skills to make a significant impact in a short-term, full-time role.

Role Overview:

As a Project Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of the refreshed Allied Health Professional (AHP) Framework action plan.

You will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and project support, ensuring the smooth execution of various initiatives within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert secretarial support to the AHP Framework programme.

Utilise Microsoft 365 programs with high proficiency.

Take accurate executive-level minutes and summarise complex discussions.

Plan and manage events and project activities.

Work independently, prioritising and managing your workload.

Perform clerical tasks including word processing and database management.

Coordinate diaries and set up national meetings.

Maintain and update databases, format documents using Excel.

Act as a professional representative of the AHP Framework team.

Provide autonomous project and administrative support.

Serve as the first point of contact for project-related queries.

Support, train, and guide other project staff.

Monitor and facilitate project progress.

Identify and report risks to the Programme/Project Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.

Strong knowledge of project planning, monitoring, and control techniques.

Experience in a demanding administrative environment.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.

Project management experience.

Experience in the public sector or health care setting is highly desirable.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle conflicting priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.

Desirable:

Background in communications.

Familiarity with allied health professions or previous experience in a healthcare setting.
