Marketing Manager

We are working exclusively with a leading Fire Consultancy to identify a Marketing Manager.

Based in the Manchester office (Hybrid) you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing plan that encompasses all aspects of communication: content creation, copywriting, award identification, website management, branding, and social media.

In this role you will collaborate with colleagues to highlight their achievements, whether they are guest speakers at international conferences, award winners, or contributors to the latest research. You will disseminate information, showcase results, and demonstrate the technical competence of the teams and partners, ensuring that marketing activities reflect the values and priorities and effectively reach our target audiences.

Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing regular feedback and recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce regular content according to a planned annual calendar, optimize the website, and track metrics.
  • Generate content for various channels, including social media, blogs, and press releases.
  • Own the brand voice and ensure consistency across all content.
  • Work with colleagues to gather project-specific information, including site visits and photographing content.
  • Maintain a calendar of events and communicate these effectively within the business.
  • Identify awards and write detailed, compelling submissions.
  • Aid recruitment efforts through effective content marketing.
  • Identify case studies, collaborate with clients, and agree on content for publication.
  • Manage internal communications, including newsletters and the intranet.
  • Build an annual content marketing strategy, communicating and embodying the company values.
