Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Site Services Manager to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Bridgend, CF35 6NY. Our client are a leading manufacturer of insulation, and we are looking for an experienced Manager to support our dedicated Hygiene team in site services delivery. An industrial cleaning background with proven management experience is essential for this client facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and development of industrial cleaning operatives to maximise performance.
  • IOSH and Health and safety knowledge preferred.
  • Report writing/data submissions to line management as required.
  • Developing strong customer relationships with all Client Management teams around your area, to ensure total alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Ensuring staffing requirements are fulfilled at all client premises in your area – you may be required to be hands-on as necessary to cover holidays & sickness.
  • Ensuring compliance with all HR and H&S legislation, policies & procedures at all times.
  • To be hands-on when required, to ensure contractual requirements are delivered to the client.
  • Managing the daily contractual cleaning of the site.
  • The site needs to be staffed continuously
  • Manage Staff, manage Expenses, liaise with client, and ensure all cleaning tasks are performed to the required standard.
  • Staff Management and HR, Health and Safety knowledge and understanding, Operational understanding, Industrial Cleaning Experience
  • Cleaning in an industrial and/or manufacturing setting.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You will have previous supervisory / management experience within the industrial cleaning industry.
  • Excellent communication skills – has the ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • Time Management skills – you will be able to prioritise and manage workloads, as well as manage your own diary effectively.
  • Comfortable in building relationships across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will have a proven ability to deliver exceptional service and be ready to adapt to customer's requirements.
  • Has a real passion for providing exceptional levels of service.
  • IOSH is preferred but not essential.
