The role in question is a dynamic and multifaceted position within a prestigious retail company located in Shepherd's Bush. The successful candidate will be engaged on a three-month rolling temporary contract, where they will play a crucial role in maintaining the supply chain's integrity and efficiency. Key responsibilities include meticulous verification and updating of supplier order confirmations, onboarding new suppliers, and ensuring seamless integration with the company's financial and operational systems.

The individual will also be responsible for the precise management of purchase orders, payment terms, and shipping details within the Fulcrum system. They will oversee the re-ordering process, conduct site checks, manage product merges, and create new product identification numbers as needed. Prior to product launches, they will carry out comprehensive pre-upload checks, manage pre-shoot preparations, and ensure all retail recommended prices are collected, verified, and uploaded while safeguarding profit margins.

Additionally, the role demands rigorous pricing checks before product uploads and the assembly of vendor packs in preparation for buying trips, which include essential documents such as sell-through reports and range plans. The candidate will serve as a central point of contact for various departments, resolving queries and providing administrative support as required.

Applicants must possess prior commercial experience in a fast-paced fashion retail environment, demonstrating strong administrative capabilities. Proficiency in advanced MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a keen eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and a capacity for multitasking. A high level of numerical and commercial acumen is expected, along with a good sense of humor and personal style, which will contribute positively to the team dynamic.
