Our client is looking for a compassionate individual to join their team. As a Bereavement Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact, providing sympathetic support and guidance to the bereaved and other service users. Your role will contribute towards maintaining high standards and meeting customer demands in the challenging field of Bereavement Services.

Responsibilities:

Provide emotional support and advice to the bereaved and other service users in a caring and compassionate manner.
Assist in delivering services in line with specified standards and customer expectations.
Perform a range of general duties to support Bereavement Services, ensuring efficiency and excellence.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a crematorium or funeral directors' setting preferred due to the sensitive nature of the role.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with individuals in distress.
Empathy and compassion towards those who are grieving, understanding the importance of providing a safe space for expression.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and the resilience to cope with potentially challenging situations.
