Job Type: Part-time (22 hours per week), Temporary/Ongoing

We are seeking a dedicated Computing Lecturer to join our academic team on a part-time basis, delivering 22 hours of high-quality teaching per week. This temporary/ongoing position involves covering Level 2, Level 3, and T Levels in Digital and Computing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital technologies and committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver engaging and informative lectures and seminars in computing and digital technologies.

Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that reflect the curriculum and cater to a range of learning styles.

Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

Provide academic support and guidance to students through office hours and scheduled meetings.

Stay current with developments in the field of computing and digital technologies to ensure the highest standards of teaching.

Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other collegiate activities.

Contribute to the enhancement of quality in teaching and learning within the department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one.

A degree or equivalent qualification in Computing, Digital Technologies, or a related field.

Experience in teaching at Level 2, Level 3, and/or T Levels in Digital and Computing.

Strong understanding of current curriculum and educational practices.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
