Due to company growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a General Labourer to join our client's team in Gloucester. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for working on various building and maintenance projects, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, and installing wood and other materials
- Assisting with roofing tasks, such as replacing damaged shingles or tiles, and repairing leaks
- Carrying out general labouring duties, such as moving materials, cleaning and preparing work areas, and assisting other tradespeople
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in carpentry and roofing, as well as a strong foundation in general labouring. You should also be physically active and able to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
As a General Labourer, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including building new structures, repairing existing ones, and maintaining buildings and facilities. This means that no two days will be the same, and you will have the chance to further develop your skills and experience in various areas of building services and maintenance.
You will be an important member of the team and will be provided all the training and support you need to excel in your role.
