Lead Principal Software Engineer Polyglot
Salary £110-120k, Bonus 15%, Fintech, Hybrid working (1 day a fortnight in the office)
Lead Principal Polyglot Software Engineer / architect required by Fintech success story. A lead Engineer who lives and breathes everything software, boasting 15 years+ of experience in tackling complex business software systems and can help lead engineering teams for our client tasked with a platform build using a modern, distributed, event-driven architecture.
You will have a solid history of working with architecture, scalability, complex business applications and be well versed in Java and/or C#/C++ and/or Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect distributed systems using modern event-driven architecture principles, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in multiple programming languages, with a strong emphasis on being language agnostic and polyglot.
- Expertise in SQL and experience with data access layers, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Champion the use of Go / GoLang in relevant projects and initiatives.
