Location: North Birmingham
Type: Full time, Permanent
Monday to Friday - 3 shift pattern, early finish on Fridays
Salary: up to £48,000 (+overtime opportunities)
Overtime: 1.5x

The Company:
My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in North Birmingham. They are an industry leading manufacturer within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance tasks, resolving breakdowns and overall site improvement.

Responsibilities will include:
- Install, repair, and maintain all equipment and facilities.
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and resolve problems to minimise production downtime.
- Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and repairs on various types of plant and equipment safely, efficiently, and professionally.
- Engage in continuous improvement workshops to suggest and implement actions aimed at enhancing productivity, processes, and quality for all plant, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts and consumables to reduce downtime.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Train operators on the safe use of production equipment as necessary.
- Complete a safety check at the start of each shift to ensure all safety features on assigned equipment are functioning properly.

Engineering qualifications/Apprenticeship
Electrical qualification (essential)
Multi Skilled
