Salford City Council is embarking on a transformative journey to enhance its housing services. We are seeking Business Analysts to conduct a comprehensive review of our housing services from the perspective of both staff and residents. This role is crucial in developing a deeper understanding of the resident experience and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Conduct a deep dive into the case files of up to 50 residents to understand their journey through our frontline services.
- Analyse the availability of signposting and information, ease of access, and application of policy and process.
- Evaluate timescales for each part of the process to ensure they meet expectations.
- Assess customer experience, including the voice of the resident and their expectations.
- Examine communication with residents in housing need and identify any missed opportunities for preventing housing need.
- Gather perspectives from staff and leaders across housing services.
- Provide real-time reports to inform the council's ongoing programme of work.
- Deliver a comprehensive report at the end of the contract period, outlining findings, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within housing services or a related field.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and produce clear, actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of process mapping and customer journey analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Agile and adaptable, with a focus on creating meaningful change.
- No DBS required, but a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity is essential.
