Role Overview
Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, it will be your responsibility to make technical Employment Law and Health & Safety subjects easy to understand, engaging and relevant to our target market across digital and print. Your writing will play a key role in prospect and client communications, campaigns, projects and overall business development strategy. This is a genuine opportunity to execute your creative copywriting and content marketing skills and authority in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, sales and marketing-led organisation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Write compelling content that educates and inspires our prospects and clients including but not limited to, website copy, adcopy, guides and blog articles, PR content, video, social media, newsletters, emails, apps (Brainbox) case studies, marketing collateral and events.
- Maintain a copy style guide to ensure consistency and tone across all channels.
- Interpret employment and health & safety legislation and official guidance to create high level technical commentary to help employers understand their legal obligations.
- Ensure all copy and scripts are delivered to brief, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Leverage the technical content and expertise from across the business to ensure content is relevant and engaging.
- Improve customer acquisition, onboarding/retention, and lifetime value by evolving our messaging accordingly.
- Working with SEO team to ensure we adhere to the latest Search Engine Optimisation best
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 3 years' professional marketing copywriting experience
- Excellent verbal and written English with impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of content marketing and SEO
- A real ability to understand a target audience and write content that engages them
