Management Accountant

Posted by Paul Card Recruitment Ltd.

A role for an ambitious accountant to join a growing business as a Management Accountant.

This is a newly created post, which means there's a real opportunity for you to make an impact.

Following further external investment into the business to support its expansion, this is a great time to join a fast-changing multimillion-pound, global business, who manufacture products throughout the UK and overseas through websites and 3rd party retailers.

As the Management Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic finance team who are successfully driving change and control across the business.

You'll be confident in preparing the management accounts, cash flow forecasting and taking control of the balance sheets.

Part of the role will include variance analysis on the P&L, so you'll have commercial acumen to understand the business relationship to the financial statements.

You'll have the confidence to produce KPI reports to improve business processes and efficiency, this does not phase you because you like a challenge.

You have a positive attitude to your work and understand that everyday could be different. You are happy to support the wider finance team with projects and others tasks when needed.

In a business where finance is already valued, you'll be a key ally to senior managers improving performance, and you'll be appreciated for it.

Additionally, you'll support the Financial Controller with a range of responsibilities and projects including cashflow reporting and planning, preparing analysis, and mentoring other members of the finance team.

You may have recently completed your accounting studies (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or you may still be actively studying towards qualification. The most important thing here is your desire to progress.

This role will support a move out of an accounting firm, valuing your audit background, or will continue the development of an accountant or analyst with great people skills and an understanding of the world beyond finance and how outside influences impact a business.
