Salary: Competitive

Fantastic Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00- 17:30

The task at hand: The Bid Administrator is responsible for the timely submission of high-quality bids and proposals, in line with client requirements.

You'll be great in this role if:

- Ideally, you will have some experience in bid coordination, proposal management, or in a similar sales administrative role

- Previous experience working in the telecommunications sector

- You demonstrate project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently and meet tight deadlines

- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint

- You are able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

What you'll be busy doing:

- Proposal Development: You will be responsible for overseeing the proposal development process. This includes understanding the requirements of the RFI & RFP, coordinating with various departments within Onecom and supplier personnel, and ensuring that the proposal aligns with the client's needs.

- Team coordination: You'll work with a cross-functional team that will include the Lead Salesperson, subject matter experts, Cloud / Solution Consultants, Project Managers, and Partner personnel.You will schedule bid kick-off and check-in calls and coordinate the efforts of these teams, track actions and ensure that the proposal is comprehensive, accurate, and meets all the requirements of the RFP.

- Quality Control: Its required that you have an eye for detail as you will be responsible for the overall quality of the proposal. A key responsibility will include reviewing and editing content to ensure it is clear, compelling, and error-free. You will also need to ensure that the proposal adheres to the specified format and guidelines stated in the RFP.

- Submission: You'll be managing the submission process ensuring that all required documents are prepared and submitted on time.

- Post submission activities: After submission, you may be involved in debriefings, supporting the Sales Lead with presentation collateral, analysing the outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement in future bids.

- Onboarding assistance: Following contract award, you may be required to assist with supplier onboarding / supplier assurance questionnaires and assessments.
