We are working with a global education business who are in need of an Interim Data Lead to join the organisation. You will be joining the business at a significant period of change, with multiple transformation programmes running co-currently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and validation, with the ability to assess and enhance existing data structures. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide expert recommendations and develop comprehensive roadmaps to integrate data architecture within ERP and e-commerce systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and Validation:
- Evaluate the current data architecture to determine its suitability and effectiveness.
- Identify any gaps or areas for improvement and validate the architecture against the business strategic objectives and best practices.
Recommendations:
- Provide detailed options and recommendations on whether the current architecture can be operationalised.
- Suggest alternative data architectures if the current model is found lacking, ensuring compatibility with ERP and e-commerce systems.
Roadmap Development:
- Develop a strategic roadmap to implement the recommended data architecture.
- Outline short-term and long-term objectives to ensure seamless integration and operationalisation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Lead, with a focus on transformation programmes.
- In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles, ERP systems, and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic roadmaps.
