One of our clients in Wembley is looking for an experienced team leader to manage a team and lead by example.
Some duties include:
The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the Value Added Packing (VAP) team
- This role involves managing personnel, coordinating daily operations, and maintaining high standards of efficiency (by both time and cost measure) and quality within the packing operations.
- Ensuring productivity and adherence to production and delivery schedules
- Managing staff issues
- Attendance and holiday
The work environment: Equipment and Tools:
- Packing stations - factory manual packing / assembly work-centres: make boxes, pack bank cards into packs, match bank card to delivery address, seal, label and post. Record output.
- Liaison with upstream processes for cards. Liaison with production manager, product owner for product specifications, quality team for quality stds. logistics teams for material supply and replenishment.
- Material storage units, high frequency material replenishment
- Envelope printer, ink cartridge and quality monitoring
- Envelope sealers, water and cleaning
- PC's, Contactless card readers
- Finished pack storage
