ARE YOU THE ONE?

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead Operations Manager to serve as the second-in-command to the Head of MX Operations at Samsung. This is an exceptional opportunity for an operations professional ready to step into a senior management role. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, able to manage cross-functional teams of 8 direct reports and drive operational excellence while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be key in ensuring that operational activities align with Samsung's strategic priorities, budgetary goals, and commercial objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BE UP TO

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of eight across the Maintenance and Communications teams.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide actionable feedback to ensure high performance and team engagement.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Support the Head of Operations in managing and forecasting budgets to ensure all operational activities are aligned with Samsung's strategic goals.

Collaborate with key internal teams, including Training, Retail, Channel, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Legal, to ensure smooth operational workflows.

MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS

Work closely with the Go-to-Market (GTM) team to ensure planned fixture updates and planograms are executed efficiently and minimising any negative impact on compliance scores.

Support with achieving strategic operational activity across Digital Marketing alongside Retail display fulfilment activity including stock logistic excellence and warehouse efficiencies.

COMMUNICATIONS

Oversee and plan internal communications to the wider SEUK team, ensuring that all key stakeholders are updated with news, progress, and quarterly activity plans.

Manage all internal communications related to operations, ensuring clarity and alignment with upcoming plans.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the sell in, reporting and execution of operational activities.

Actively manage and engage with key vendors (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) to manage the planning, execution, budget optimisation, ROI, and program outputs.

  • You can demonstrate experience within a Senior Operations/Operations Manager role.
  • You're commercially astute with strong Excel skills, including analysis, forecasting, and trend identification.
  • You have proven experience in managing and developing teams, driving performance, and fostering team growth.
  • You have excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence key stakeholders, and implement change.
  • You have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-profile tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • You have proven ability to address underperformance, provide constructive feedback, and drive improvement.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, demonstrating professionalism, resilience, and the ability to persevere in challenging situations.

  • You're exceptional at relationship-building and have networking skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have flexibility to travel as required, with a full UK driver's license.
