We have been instructed by one of our manufacturing clients in Ongar to support in their recruitment of a Guillotine Operator.
The organisation is set in a scenic rural area (own transport required) and a staff canteen is available onsite.
This is a full time position working 40 hours a week, with flexible start and finish times to be agreed in advance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate machinery
- Confirm job details before cutting
- Work enthusiastically to achieve production targets
- Inspect pallets after cutting and complete daily quality checklists
- Perform make-ready and preventive maintenance activities and blade changes
- Maintain accurate daily records of time, materials usage and production information
Skills & Experience Required:
- A successful proven record and experience of operating Guillotines in a print finishing background
- Experience operating Polar Guillotines (desirable)
- Experience with hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklift certitication (desirable)
