Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Workchain is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client in Cradley Heath. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, ensuring they arrive safely and on time. It is timber you are going to be transporting so ratchet strapping is essential. You will be need to tramp out 1 or 2 nights a week which is ran on a rotation with other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive to various locations to deliver goods
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license
- CPC qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
