Buyer / Procurement Coordinator
Great opportunity for a Buyer/Procurement Coordinator in Filton!
Certain Advantage have been engaged to help their Aerospace Engineering & Manufacturing client to recruit a contractor initially until 31/12/24 who can offer buying knowledge and a keenness and interest in supporting procurement activities.
This contract role will involve working 3 days onsite and the rest remote.
This role will include discussion with suppliers, but in more of a support capacity (so not negotiations/amendments)
The main tasks will focus on process improvement, collecting technical data to improve processes, e.g. performance KPI issues and missing structure with documents/contracts.
Your skills & Experience
We're looking for candidate who can offer;
- An appetite for procurement with some buying knowledge
- Ability to design a supplier dashboard would be beneficial
- Ability to manage a database and be IT literate
- ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams and suppliers.
This is a contract position Inside IR35 offering £30hr (Umbrella)
The working hours are 35 hours per week across 4.5 days.
There is the potential for travel to Europe for meetings once per quarter.
