Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary patient assessments to determine care needs.
- Refer patients to departments like radiology, cardiology, or osteopathy.
- Take over care from Paramedics upon patient arrival.
- Communicate updates to family members.
- Analyze test results and maintain detailed notes.
- Administer dressings, pain relief, antibiotics, and medications.
- Complete discharge paperwork.
- Uphold care standards in the Emergency Department.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an ED department.
- Strong clinical skills and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
