The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset. The Director of Production will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Lead and manage the production team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives, including output, quality, and cost targets.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Ensure the effective utilisation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems to integrate and streamline production processes. Ensure accurate and timely data entry to leverage ERP insights for decision-making and operational improvements.
- Maintain and improve quality control to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Manage production budgets and prepare regular reports on production performance.
- Work closely with other departments, including procurement, engineering, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a diverse team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a demonstrated ability to integrate and optimise these systems for enhanced production outcomes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
