Production Engineer

Circa £55k
Based in Chelmsford or Colchester, you'll play a fundamental role in the Operations Team, supporting manufacturing and engineering operations. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 and fantastic benefits, including a generous company pension scheme, health insurance, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Exciting opportunity to support Manufacturing and Engineering Operations.
- Regular interactions with internal functions and customers and suppliers.
- Playing a fundamental role in ensuring products meet the highest level of inspection standards
- Review and approve PCB layouts for manufacture
- Approve components for assembly compatibility
- Define solder reflow profiles for product
- Design manufacturing tooling
Preferred Requirements:
- Design for Manufacturing
- Solder stencil design
- Equipment evaluation and commissioning
- Manufacturing Process design and development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, or relevant experience
- Experience as a Production Engineer in the Electronics industry
