Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily work with students on the autism spectrum, providing them with the support they need to thrive in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the head teacher.
- Support students with autism in their daily school activities.
- Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary.
- Prepare and present engaging lessons that meet individual student needs and abilities.
- Promote positive student behavior and maintain a safe and comfortable classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with autism is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and resilient personality with a passion for special education.
