Our well established client - a following forward thinking law firm is seeking a experienced Residential Conveyancing Team Leader who can speak fluent Chinese to work in their busy London (Elephamt & Castle) team.
They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Conveyancing Team Leader to run a reduced caseload of Residential Property files whilst providing supervision and mentoring to a dedicated team of junior fee earners.
Potential candidates will have experience and thorough knowledge of residential conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold
purchase and sales. They will be a solicitor or qualified conveyancer with 5 years' experience in handling transactions from initial enquiry through to post completion. They would be of a commercial mind-set with excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Possess the ability to provide a high level of client care and the skills to inspire and lead a team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of residential conveyancers, providing
guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Caseload Management: Oversee the residential conveyancing team's caseload,
ensuring timely and accurate completion of transactions.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality in all conveyancing transactions, adhering to legal regulations and best practices.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and implement ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Performance Management: Assist the team in meeting individual and team KPI's and targets.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Excellent English and Chinese language skills both oral and written.
- At least 5-years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters.
- A demonstrated track record of successful team leadership.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver targets.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary between £70,000 and £80,000, dependent on experience and qualification
