Employee Relations Advisor

If you are looking for a rewarding role as part of a rapidly expanding business with lots of scope for career progression, then this will be perfect for you. Working alongside a team of experienced ER Managers, you will be given the support you need to enable you to provide advice and guidance to the business on all ER issues, people policies and formal processes.

They are looking for someone who would enjoy a high touch role, building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the business as the main point of contact for ER issues for the wider HR team. You will be providing pragmatic case management and advice on all employee relations issues, including probation, performance, sickness absence management, student termination meetings, flexible working requests, disciplinary issues, grievance and other ad hoc ER issues.

This is a newly created role working for a business that is going through a period of rapid growth and transformation, so it's an exciting time to get on board. There is an existing ER team of Managers and Senior Managers who are happy to provide you with the support and guidance you need as you progress in your career. The firm have adopted a hybrid working model and are expecting 1-2 days in the office.

They are looking for someone with:

  • Previous ER case management experience in a either an HR or ER role
  • The ability to set up and support ER meetings (being able to take proficient notes, write quality letters and provide on the spot advice)
  • An understanding of how ER matters impact commercial operations and vice versa.
