DevOps Engineer - Leeds
The Role
As a DevOps Engineer at this up and coming business you will be responsible for continuously improving the infrastructure, developing and deploying cloud environments, automating all that can be automated, helping engineers work more efficiently and improving the DevOps tools that the company already deploys. Just like any business, mistakes do occur, and it is your job to be proactive and to support the teams and find innovative solutions. You will also have the opportunity to put your ideas to the table as you will be expected to contribute to platform architecture and design to drive continuous improvement.
Skills: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Networking, Linux
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a DevOps/Cloud engineer is preferred, but work with similar principles is also sufficient (Site Reliability, System Engineer, maybe even a Software Engineer!)
- Advanced experience with public and private clouds
- Advanced knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Git is a close friend of yours
- Expertise with Linux and all surrounding flavours is a huge bonus
- Experience with Terraform
