This role is based in the Loughborough area, with excellent transport links. You'll be joining a long-established, family-run business recognised for its collaborative culture and commitment to excellence. As a key member of the finance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the company's cash flow is maintained and work in collaboration with one other member of the Credit team.

As Credit Controller, you will:

  • Perform day-to-day credit control processes, maintaining regular contact with customers to chase outstanding debts.
  • Resolve sales ledger queries and manage daily allocation and posting of customer payments.
  • Produce and check monthly statements, and generate weekly Aged Debtor reports for sales account managers.
  • Conduct credit checks using Experian and recommend customer credit limits.
  • Set up customer accounts and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.

What You'll Need to Be Considered:

To excel in this role, you should have strong experience in credit control within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll be interacting with customers and internal teams regularly. Familiarity with Microsoft systems and credit checking tools like Experian will also be advantageous.
