Field Service Engineer

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our customers. You will work closely with our customers to ensure the smooth operation of our products and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair our products at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions for complex problems
- Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
- Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites as needed
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license
Basic- experience dependant starts at £26K rising to £32K for a fully experienced person.
OT is always available at 1.25 during the week, 1.5 on Sat and 1.75 on Sunday/bank hol
On call is expected once someone is fully trained. 1 week in 4
