Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator In this role, you will be the key liaison between the Workshop Supervisor, Quality Control, and Projects team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of all fabrication and machining scopes. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed Coating Instructions and Delivery Notes, coordinating shipping documentation, and managing the transport of materials to and from Coating providers. You will also oversee the dispatch team to prepare materials for delivery and maintain the live Production Schedule with Project Status updates.

Role Background

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels, from shop floor to senior management and clients. You should be able to use your initiative, manage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritize tasks and workload efficiently. Excellent verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential. Additionally, you should have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications, with a keen attention to detail. People management and project management skills are also crucial for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities

Communicate with Workshop Supervisor, Quality Control and Projects team on all fabrication and machining scopes progressing through facilities.

Create detailed Coating Instructions.

Create detailed Delivery Notes for all materials leaving the business.

Coordinate shipping documentation inclusive of packing lists, delivery notes and dangerous goods.

Coordinate materials to and from Coating providers.

Coordinate the dispatch team to prep materials for delivery.

Coordinate internal and external transport of materials.

Maintain the live Production Schedule with Project Status.
