We are now looking for a Catering Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of our catering department, ensuring that both front of house and kitchen areas are clean, hygienic, and efficient.

You will serve and replenish food on counters, maintain excellent customer care, and assist with setting up and clearing function rooms for events.

Supporting basic food preparation tasks, you will ensure that all activities comply with Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation.

Additionally, you will:

- Liaise with other team members to ensure the best catering service is provided
- Undertake regular training and refresher courses
- Work within any area of the School during catering functions
- Assist other members of the catering team

Please note, this role involves lifting and carrying items of a reasonable weight.

About You

To be considered as a Catering Assistant, you will need:

- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent)
- A working knowledge of the hospitality industry
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- The ability to use simple machinery within a kitchen environment
- The ability to interact with children, young adults, and adults
- A keen eye for detail in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness
