You will be working for a world leader in machining and technical solutions based in Coventry. The company is looking for an Inventory Controller to support managing inventory levels, customer relationships and provide detailed analysis.
Your new role
The role involves monitoring inventory levels to align with company goals, conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories, managing the returns process in SAP, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with stakeholders to handle returned goods efficiently. The candidate will work closely with customers to control consignment stock levels, collaborate with sales and customer service teams to forecast demand and replenish consigned inventory, and ensure accurate tracking in SAP. Ideally, the candidate will have SAP knowledge to maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions. Additionally, the role includes generating reports and analytics from SAP to provide insights into inventory performance, identifying trends, proposing improvements, and continuously evaluating and enhancing inventory management processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Observing safety procedures and using equipment properly is crucial, along with demonstrating business acumen and understanding market and competition implications.
What you'll get in return
For this role you will receive a temporary contract with an hourly rate equivalent to £28,000 - £30,000 DOE. This role also has the potential to become a permanent contract.
