Bristol - Embedded Software Engineer - £45-60k
I am collaborating with a dynamic consultancy in Bristol that is seeking to recruit a talented and ambitious embedded software engineer. This position will afford the suitable candidate the opportunity to develop resilient embedded software for a range of client projects.
Main duties:
Develop embedded software for a range of electronic/hardware based products.
Designing software utilizing UML or alternative methodologies while providing assistance to the software team.
Developing embedded software for low-level target hardware.
Integrate software into a range of hardware projects.
Conducting comprehensive testing to guarantee the delivery of a resilient, high-quality system.
Skills and Experience Required:
Demonstrable knowledge of C/C++
Experience of developing and debugging software on an microcontroller (Bare metal)
Experience of low-level communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART)
Programming for microcontrollers (STM32 or similar)
Understanding of electronic principals
Able to operate and confidently use test equipment (Bench power supply, Oscilloscope, multimeter)
The competitive salary is between £45-60k + benefits!
