A Field Service Engineer is required for a long-established company in the Oxfordshire area specialising in Pumps and Pumping solutions for the water and wastewater industry including filtration, water treatment, and pipework.
Working on a full-time, permanent basis offering a salary up to £40,000 plus an attractive employee benefits package is offered to Field Service Engineers, joining a highly focused service team to become part of their continued success in serving both Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, and Defence customers mainly in the South of England.
As a Field Service Engineer, your key responsibilities include Servicing, repairing, and installing pumps, pumping equipment, filtration, treatment, pipework, and associated equipment, (both Clean water and sewage). Diagnosing problems on site and gathering information to ensure accurate prices/quotes can be raised. There is a need to attend to emergency callouts on the occasional evenings and weekends.
Reporting to the Service Manager. The ideal candidate must have the following: Mechanical engineering background (ideally pump, filtration, pipework, control panels experience, but will consider other backgrounds). With the ability to diagnose/problem solve a range of water service requirements, having excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels of their operation. A company van is provided (following the trial and training period).
Applicants must have a full clean UK Driving Licence.
