Our client is looking for a restaurant supervisor and a bar supervisor to join their existing team in their busy Ambleside restaurant.
There are 2 positions available.
Open to varying experience, training will be provided but they must have experience in a customer facing capacity.
Split shifts required and candidates will most likely be working both weekend days. Shift patterns: 7:30am - 12/3pm 3pm-11pm/12am dependent on customers.
Restaurant opens for food at 9am, closes at 11pm, bar can close around midnight dependent on customers.
Rate of pay is £12.70 per hour, these are full time roles at 39 hours per week. Pay is fortnightly.
Living locally is ideal, however accommodation can be provided for anyone who does not live locally or drive. this would be charged at around £250 per month.
Open to candidates who are looking for temporary e.g. 3 month contract. But ideally candidates will want permanent work.
The purpose of the role is to serve as a supervisor under the guidance of the Management Team, overseeing the drinking and dining experiences at the Bar and Restaurant, whilst ensuring the guests experience is the best it possibly can be. We are seeking an individual with prior experience as a Super-waiter, equipped with the skills and knowledge to transition into a managerial role.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in teaching, training, and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities include monitoring and addressing time management, ensuring tasks are completed to the required standard, providing training to new and existing team members, managing stock levels, working independently to deliver standard operating procedures, overseeing various sections within the establishment, conducting team briefings, organising and delegating roles, managing the booking system (ResDiary), resolving guest issues, and completing cash up.
