A chance to be the transactional whizz at this business, working closely with one of the most down-to-earth and approachable Financial Controllers in the business!
There's problem-solving to be done and the experience will look fantastic on your CV; they're honest in saying the accounts function isn't "picture perfect" and it does need tweaks and improvements so that's where you come in - to challenge the status quo, implement your own ways of working and essentially run the day to day accounts to reflect your style.
The team are wonderful - no one is overworked, stressed or under pressure... they work hard but know how to let their hair down with regular events, team nights out and trips away.
This is not a business where you're going to become a qualified accountant so if this is an accolade you're chasing, perhaps this isn't for you.
But what you will gain is a completely broad overview of the whole accounts function from grass-roots level through to prepping the month-end for the FC to produce the management accounts.
