My client, a specialist, UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a GIS Consultant to work from Leeds.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Management or GIS and experience completing GIS Mapping using ArcGIS, Topographic Surveys and Lazer Scanning.
Candidates are required to have a valid driving license to complete site surveys.
This exciting opportunity will offer the chance to join a supportive team in Leeds. You will have the opportunity to complete varied GIS mapping and Topographic Surveys for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Housing Developers.
As a GIS Consultant you will be required to complete the following technical work including;
2D and 3D Topographic Surveys.
Lazer scanning using Leica P40, Leica RTC360, NavVis VLX and Leica BLK2GO.
Data capture using GNSS technology and robotic total station.
Data analysis using AutoCAD and GIS.
2D and 3D survey drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Preparing and writing reports.
You will be required to drive to sites and work from the office a few days a week.
